So I got another level. However, I clicked on something else and the screen that tells me what I got by reaching the next level was lost. Is there any way to retrieve it or find this information somewhere else?

Go to the game you got the level from and click on "game summary" on the left panel.

Thanks for the replies, but:

- "game summary" only gives the breakdown of this particular game, not of gaining a level
- I actually wanted to check out the new maps I am able to use when creating games; I realised this is a great way of examining them in small chunks and noting those I like for later

First of all, this should belong to Help section! Not exactly rocket science to understand difference of General and Help!

Check that link and on each map page you can find level required to create suitable template. Most maps are without level-cap (or relatively low under lvl 25) so there is plenty to go around!
