Only an idiot would give money to those starving African child "programs" where 99% of the money earned ends up in the coordinator's fatass pockets and the rest goes to African warlords who don't give a flying fuck about the children.

A well-to-do man invests his money. He can care about what he invests in even, but the fact that he will (hopefully) earn more money back means that he isn't a cuck to feelings and emotions.

Besides, I'm reading "The Prince" by Machiavelli, which is basically applying that same kind of trickery and cunning to running a kingdom.
