I asked MotD about it through skype and it is because of Muli's userscript. I have turned it off.

Click on Userscript

As you can see, you can also reduce the snow.

Ah, cheers! It was beginning to bother me a bit too.

everyone should get Muli's userscript. I've had it for a while and then a few days ago it didn't work and I realised how horrible warlight is without it. It really does make a difference.

It turned out I needed to update my web browser, but those 2 days without userscript were horrible, absolutely horrible. I don't know how anyone can go back to normal warlight after using the userscript.
