The pilgrim story is what we are taught in our young years, mainly being that the whole story would be too complicated for a young mind. We never seem to be taught the whole thing in later years, unless we take a class that would specifically cover it. In all honesty, though, nobody gives a sh*t about the pilgrims and Squanto (whom I completely forgot about until I watched that video). We gather together being thankful, and to be with family and/or watch some American football games.
