You wake up, but you cannot see anything clearly, despite the bright light. You appear to be unable to move, and someone is whispering nearby, but you can't figure out what he's saying. A large, round thing suddenly enters your field of view. It's too blurry to identify. You wonder again why you can't move. You blink. Wait, your eyes can move, why not the rest of you?

Assuming the source of the whispering is a human, you ask why you can't move. The whisper comes back perfectly clear. "You are not strong enough". You feel a chill pass through you as you recognize the voice. It's so familiar, but you can't remember whose voice it is. The room becomes clearer. You are lying on a table, and all you see are two charred walls, each holding a bizarre assortment of paintings. Muzak plays in the background.

(side note: if you had rolled less than a 15 on the wake up, you would've woken up in a much worse situation.)

You do a few mental push ups to exercise your mind. You mentally push towards the sound of the whispers. You run into a wall of Muzak, but break through it. By the time you do, all you mentally see is a fleeting glimpse of red, then the whisperer is gone. A whispered "so long" reverberates through your head. You snap back to your own body, and discover you can move again. You stand up off the table, and are surprised to see that your wounds have completely healed. There is no exit that you can see, just four walls covered with paintings. The room is about 10 feet wide, and 70 feet long. Your table is at one end of it. Your sword has disappeared, but you still have your armor. Reaching into a pocket, you discover a small medallion engraved with a fox's head. On the back is the inscription: This will pay the price when you know not what you are buying

You attempt to look behind a painting. There's another painting behind it. You quickly check all the paintings. It seems that this room's walls are made of layers of paintings.

You search through all the paintings, but nothing resembles the fox medallion. Your confidence is momentarily shattered. You fall to your knees, sobbing. Then, after consulting with an imaginary psychologist, you recover most of your confidence. But you're still in the room.

(No roll because the medallion is for something specific, so it can't be used on this room, regardless of how you roll)

Roll: 4 + 2 = 6.

A tumbleweed blows out of a wall, across the room, and into the other wall. Nothing else comes to help you

You don't find any. Somehow you get the sense that the way out may not be as simple as a hidden door.

You think really hard. Then, you realize that you're back in the hut. The room never existed, it was a prison for your mind, not your body. It's now night time, and the full moon lights up the clearing and path outside.

You move out of the hut, and back onto the path. The corpses of the hunters are gone. You realize you can't tell which way is which. Down the path to your right, you can vaguely see what looks like huge stone sculpture, and down the left path, you can hear a river. You don't remember either of those being there when you walked in.
