To Invite people to games, Especially when they only have 2 Characters on their name and the "Search" Tool requires 3 Characters? Than it means more labour and effort is involved in adding the profile to your friend list...? Why Warlight make it so hard? -_-

I also noticed that the search function only shows a set number of players. Granted, I was using mobile at the time, but I was creating a clan v clan game with the Gentlemen and there were too many people named Phoenix so I had to go in and friend him to add him to the game.

A really good tip guys, if they're in a clan, search the clans name. It comes up with all of the clan members ;)

(This wouldn't work with extremely large clans, but works for me)

Clan search works for tournaments, but is there a clan search for regular 1v1 games?

If you type the clan name in the search bar all players from that clan will appear (as well as anyone who has that in their username)

It's different to tournaments, but it works

Coming from the guy who just had to create all the A league tournaments for Clan League and the MA league tournaments, I have to say it was 100% easier than it has been in the past. We used to have everyone added and then find them in our list of friends (using ctrl+f). I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally like this new system and I don't quite understand why you call it hard. If you want to find people fast that have 2 letter names, add them. jz plays in the MA league and I simply went over to AWF's clan list and found him.

It'd be hard to update the system to be any better. If you allow searching 1 or 2 letters, the system doesn't have enough to go by to give you an informed search of people. Sure typing in jz would bring up jz, but it'd also bring up anyone who's name starts with jz, and that can become problematic. Searching one letter would also be problematic due to the results you could get.

Ohyeah I talked mostly tournaments but realized you were talking about games. Yeah, I'd add people who you want to create a game for personally that have less than 3 letter names. Other than that you can type in the name of their clan to return a search that gives you all of the members of that clan.

You do not have to bring up anyone who's name starts with the two letters. Just do .equals() not .startsWith() for short requests.
