ok, they are the only which have acces to ALL ladders, but we assumed it was for everyone... and that was what everyone thought before this sudden change... thats what everyone thought when we payed Money for it

A while ago there was a 2v2-tournameny and the winning team would get to play in the 2v2 ladder.
I assume a similar tourny was held for the 1v1-ladder.

Which level(s) unlock luck ??

The luck I cared about was:

16% - Level 33
0% - Level 40

I think you guys are talking about me. So I joined the ladder yesterday. I can only the 1v1 ladder because I leveled up to 48. you could see it by my profile that I started playing in the ladder. BTW give an eye to this tournament: http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?TournamentID=6338
And no I'm not a member and I didn't win a tournament for 1v1 ladder or any other gifts..

And how many games do you think you played to get to level 48? Trouble is i bet you had lots of grandfathered achievements that counted right away, so that is hard to gauge

FlyingBurrito I know your name has been mentioned and you're right to a certain extent this thread concerns you. Don't worry it's not aimed at you, you are merely the first non-member to take advantage of what you unlocked.

The comments in anger/dismay? I'm not sure which is the right word. Are aimed at the fact that non-members can join the ladder. And with that the last thing people feel they paid membership for in many cases is gone.

Nothing posted here is about you as a person.

i actually believe you are a good player to join the ladder, but anyone who stays here for a few months will eb allowed to join the ladder, thats the problem

yeah flyinburrito you are good enough to win a free membership tourney anyways, but the point is eventually the ladder will be full of nonmembers who just farm, and that now members have no benefits

Cruel world we live in.

I bought membership ages ago to support Fiz. Back then only members could make tournies and play in ladders. It seemed like you had better quality games all around when that was the case. I'd prefer a reversion back to the old way of things or else add in benefits that aren't handed out at any level. People need a reason to buy things, not everyone has a big heart and is willing to donate(no matter how many hours of fun they get out of it.)

Well, for all those who purchased memberships, they got to enjoy membership benefits for a long time until WL 2.0 came out, so I don't understand how you guys are ripped off. Its like buying an Iphone 4 right when it comes out, instead of waiting for the next model to come out, than buying the Iphone 4 for a cheaper price. Do the people who bought it right when it came out feel ripped off? Of course not. They got to enjoy the iphone 5 before others.

I expect demand for memberships to continue, though will decrease greatly, If Fizzer thinks he can make enough through ads, than thats good news.

Some people bought their membership later then you did Pulsey so that argument doesn't fully go up...

and the awesome shiny member badge cant be seen because of lvls, so it is off the screen during a 1v1

Pulsey didn't even buy the membership :D

He just took the {RSP} All-Member account for himself.


Anyway, I am no fan of this, unless there are some restrictions:

Only non-members who prove themselves worthy can bypass the $30, and although Flying does deserve this, it will fill the ladders with unneeded players.

I can count on one hand the amount of non-members that are good.

What's preventing the farmers who override bonus values from getting that ladder accessibility? As long as they have patience we will have a ton of people who don't know what they're doing here....

i think the argument still fits...

did anyone buy a membership after they reached level 52? The people who bought a membership recently haven't reached the top level, so they saved themselves a lot of time levelling up...

Nevertheless, I suppose it can be frustrating for some who purchased a membership very recently... they were hoping for member-only options but only received a shortcut...

One thing i want to know...
Do non-members have access to all ladders? Or is it just the 1v1 ladder?
