1) Japan beat South Africa (twice world champions)!


2) Argentina almost won against the All Blacks!

NZ. Its kinda predictable, which is one of the reasons I stopped watching sports. My team/favourite driver never seems to win.

angry, If I remember correctly, france lost the final 4 years ago ;p

eh it was against the ALL BLACKS (compared to football, the Brazil of rugby for rugby newbies, but the All Blacks are bloody frightening whereas the football brazil team isnt) and in their home (New Zealand), we lost just by 1 point: 8-7, not that bad, we are usually in the top 3 but never succeeded to win that bloody world cup!

I saw japan-south africa, was a very good game. and well, the all blacks are quite dominant, they win this year's world cup as well

Well sirsalty, indeed rugby is way more spectacular compared to american football, there are no stupid interruptions for adverts all the time, many tactical moves and moreover, more than ONE pass during playing times!
A shame that rugby is not more popular in Europe at least, in continental Europe only France is able to really compete against British and Irish teams... Rugby has been for a long time confined to the anglosaxon world (excepted America). Fortunately some new countries are now rivaling such as Japan and Argentina :) France is no longer alone!

Let's face it, American Football is just an unnecessary remake of rugby. And annoys everyone because when Americans speak of "football"...
