The forefather of all RP clans, {rp} The Roleplayers Guild is the third oldest clan on Warlight and still one of the most active roleplaying centered communities around. Led by Ranek, who has established friendly connections with other RP clans to create inter-clan RP games, {rp} has remained prominent and at the forefront of the “RP scene” despite their age.

With a well-known name and good relations with other clans, members of {rp} will have the opportunity to participate in interesting and diverse scenarios; ranging from Future World Diplomacies to Zombie Apocalypse Survival games, from The Last Airbender to Game of Thrones Scenarios.The clan page, while wordy and blocky, is informative and cheerful. Some members of the community are inactive (like “last seen 100 days ago” inactive), but that is to be expected of a RP clan who has been around for as long as {rp} has been around. If you are a roleplayer who feels like your public open diplomacy games are being dragged down trolls, illiterate fools, and immature brats, then {rp} is the clan for you.

If this gets good support from other players I think it'd be cool to get more reviews like this for other clans.

Genghis please explain further why you think my threads are spam; many people have given me positive feedback and encouragement to do more. I'm open to taking suggestions on improving future editions of Under the Microscope. :D

No, considering what other "content" that have been infesting threads today, Please keep making new healthy threads. For the time being this threads are right at the top, quality wise :)

Nice format you use in all under macroscope threads. Easy to read and understand.

I think he is suggesting that you keep all of your clan reviews on one single thread. Though, while cluttered, I would disagree. Keep the discussion about different clans separate. Maybe even do two reviews on a single thread. It's probably more efficient that way.

While we're at it, I also think you should change your "Overall Clan Quality" rating to be more diverse. So far, you really only have a four-tiered system of 7-10 (7 being the clans with the least quality, and 10 being ones with the most quality overall). I personally don't think all clans are above a 5/10 on a quality scale, and would argue that clans shouldn't have ratings all so close to each other. There are clans that are obviously of much higher quality than others. Maybe if you shortened your scale to 1-4 it would be easier to keep the rankings as you see fit, but clustering them in such a short range isn't very accurate.

thank you TBest, Hostile. Unlike many other forum threads you see on Warlight these days, "Under the Microscope" is not about hate, trolling, or mindless spam.

Shrouded in my alt pseudonym I'm simply giving DETAILED, and to the best of my ability OBJECTIVE and UNBIASED in-depth reports on various clan to better inform the Warlight community and spread info. Unlike many others who simply judge and hate other clans, I provide explanations and actually give relevant info while taking a neutral stance when analyzing. Again, if you hate my threads so much just ignore or download that user-created application that removes threads you don't wanna see. :)

I respect your opinion friend, but I disagree with your stance about my threads being "spam".

I'll chime in to say that I very much appreciate these reviews, even though I wouldn't normally comment on them, simply because I have nothing useful to add; but they are certainly informative and helpful and shed a light on a somewhat 'insider' aspect of Warlight.

Edit: And I personally prefer one review per thread, so that clan-specific discussions can occur. The 'load' of having multiple threads is so minuscule that I have little sympathy for those arguments for a single thread.

These threads are certainly not spam, and including more than one review in a single thread would just make that thread cluttered and confusing.

One a day is more than enough spacing to keep these from overwhelming the forums.

I'm currently doing 2 a night but yeah I'll probably start doing 1 a day or I'll run out clans :P

I for one, really enjoy these UTMS threads

most of the good rpers are now inactive. Some are left, but the clan is not what it once was.

Personally I like these, and they're in the right forums. It's good for people who are intersted in joining a clan, I've been monitoring these while searching, and even spoke to Ranek about joining. Ended up going with CORP in the end because they have a lot of active members I'm used to playing with :)

These threads aren't hurting anyone, Ghengis is just a butt-hurt old troll.

Well there's already about 4 of them on my page, and I'd rather just see 1. Also, it doesn't seem far from the truth that a lot of these grades are made up and are not based in fact. Has there even been a C grade yet? I liked this the first time, and i still like this concept. But it seems excessive to have 12 threads over the course of the weekend.

From the viewpoint of someone who knows little about the RP side of Warlight, this i found very informative.
I personally would question the benefit of lotteries within the community but almost any other game variant just strengthens Warlight as a whole.
Learning about the other sides of the game that we don't generally explore ourselves is great and i thank you BanaNa for shedding a light into the mysteries of clans we might not know anything about.

I don't quite understand the desire for lower overall ratings, if the clan is active and has members then it serves a purpose and is the best clan in it's members opinions. People might not like certain clans for a variety of reasons but they are still good clans to others.
Therefore, the overall ratings can only be your personal viewpoint of the clan and is valid as such

I'd give {rp} and A+ on Clean/Mature Reputation. I have not seen another clan (including my own) with the level of maturity that this clan holds. They know how to role play better than any other clan, in my opinion. Enthusiastic, active, and fun!
