Why am I doing this?

To facilitate diplomacy players the league will be here. :)

- Custom Scenario all nations equal...

- 6 Players (Maybe more)

- 6 games.

- Winner of Each game gets 6 points. Second place = 5 points Third = 4........ and so on.

This is easy to hold this tournament as no creation of a tournament is needed unlike bigger tournaments I've held like the Champions league and soon the Europa League.. So no worries there :)

Alliances doesn't carry over in the next game... Cmon guys don't take advantage of this and team up.. Mix it up a bit :)

We could have a diplomacy league... Like A B C D If we get a huge outcry of numbers.. Again It's easy for me to handle..

Now What do the diplomacy players make of this?

I don't care if you don't like Diplomacy go and make a tournament and see how you do with it posts here will be just ignored... Don't be a twat.. It's as simple as that guys :)

You declare you want to join. I add you to participant list. I invite to games.. Do your best I count your scores and I tell you where you came! simples!

Is this a diplomacy(roleplay) or a FFA with custom-scenario ?

This would fail so hard.

1) A diplo needs RP elements, for RP to exist it needs a solid background story. In a fully balanced 6 man game it's basically not gonna happen

2) People do hold grudges even if subconsciously. Wars will most likely be carried over to the next game.

3) Being very competitive, a game under that system would likely have a lot of people doing all kinds of things to win - a diplo tends to have no winners.

4) 6 people isn't really much of a diplo. :P

That way an element is their..

This is an issue. I won't lie.. But could you say making peace or alliances with your enemys could be a skill? + It's not going to be every game their bordering with eachother right?

Well thats true.. Thats why if players VTE.. Lets say under the current point system I'm proposing.. 1st 2nd 3rd make a total of 15 points right? So share it out 5 points each that way...

If there is Interest I will revise the numbers no problem.

But with issue #2 We could have 10 pots.. Each with 6 pots. making a total of 60 players.. The pots would be drawn randomly... There will be 6 games with 6 different opponents each time that way that issue is gone as it's complete random all the time? Would that work...

I'll join, but only if you put it up to like, 14 or 15 people, 6 is way too small for any reasonable diplo game.

I can set up a scenario for you, given most of my current ones need at least like, 25 players.

Im also happy to make a scenario but I would need a fixed number otherwise the template would be useless if 1 more player joins

We will wait till the numbers dry up.. When it does we will close the window for people to join the league and there we will have a fixed number! :)
