Description

This is an old union of four cities: San Salvador, Tegucigalpa, La Ceiba, and Catacamas. It formed somewhere around 2500 BC. This union had a war with Guatemala, Belice (Belize), and Nicaragua. They took Guatemala proper and Belice, the Guatemalan government remained in control of Chiapas. Nicaragua had great losses, and almost (but didn't) lost Managua. This union lasted only about a couple hundred years before Yucatan joined against them and the cities split up. Of course, in the fighting Catacamas was crushed by Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba.
