For Central America I'm going to treat the area as if it's similar to Eurasia, because I can't do much with actual Central American history. In 1403, Belice (Belize) became a vassal of Guatemala after being down on its luck. At the time Mexico was, and for the millennia before, a collection of tribes and nations, including northern Guatemala and the kingdom of Yucatan. Yucatan has often been at war with Belice. In 1412, Guatemala and Belice conquered Yucatan. Starting in 1463 was over 20 years of conflict in the south, which gave Guatemala control of the once great city La Ceiba and its lands, and much of the lands of Tegucigalpa. San Salvador was invaded, but the fort barely held, as in Tegucigalpa. The nation was at its height in 1493, when Belice was becoming a colonial empire. Not long after was the great war that led to the Honduras union and the independence of Belice and Chiapas.
