But USSR took back all of eastern Europe and so won the second world war. USA and allies didn't really help USSR. Also the germans lost many troops at the eastern front. The battles on the Eastern Front constituted the largest military confrontation in history. The Eastern Front was decisive in determining the outcome of World War II, eventually serving as the main reason for Germany's defeat. It resulted in the destruction of the Third Reich, the partition of Germany for nearly half a century and the rise of the Soviet Union as a military and industrial superpower.

Every country has had some messes in its past. Russia had Stalin (Putin isn't quite as bad since he's forced into his weird madman role- he's probably the most sane head of state out there right now, just given what he has to deal with geopolitically- China to the south, NATO to the west, GUAM right on his doorstep, and his country's economy dependent on oil and damaged by corruption), but the US has had Operation Condor and has been responsible for the toppling of countless democratically elected governments and the support of many dictatorships. We're also dealing with a government that's currently observing every one of its citizens as if it were a terrorists- War on Terror America might be even worse than Cold War America.

Russia's government may suck quite a bit right now, but that doesn't mean we should hate every Russian.

Remind me the history of Moldova,,, until 1300-1200 ~ was just a few tribes in Turkish, then established Moldova, it was a vassal of Hungarians Poles and Turks, then the Russians, and at the end "Romania", and then returned to the Russians, and received the independence, ,,, what a independent multi-depth history and suspense ..... your history, you were beaten children of Eastern Europe.

Except this if you consider yourself Dacians, it does not really accurate because Dacians mainly settle in southern Romania and Trnslibnih, they are not really controlled all Moldova or dominated it for a short time and significantly, on the shores of Moldova were Greeks, most of teh time Moldova was a tribal area mainly by Turkish tribes, so what else can you tell on your nation?
