Warlight was under heavy load for me for the last 2 dasy, seems to be fine now.
Was this happening for everyone or just a few?
Any information the devs can give us on the issue? Fizzer? Mercer? Was this update in progress? Amazon fuck up? Related to the wrong account login bug?

Sorry about that.
What happened was a web-server failed due to the disk filling up (I had a script that was writing some debug info, and I let it run away unchecked.) I have alerts for low disk space, but I was asleep at the time it happened.
The load balancer is designed to automatically remove web-servers from rotation when they fail, and it did its job and removed the disk-full webserver. However, this caused additional load on the other webservers, which ultimately led to some intermittent "heavy load" messages as they were straining to keep up. It was also compounded by the additional load on these servers causing some non-disk-full webservers to fail too, causing the load balancer to take them out of rotation too, which put even more load on the remaining working ones causing even more heavy load messages.
I fixed it initially by fixing all the web-servers and then everything returned to normal. I've also fixed my debug scripts so they just turn themselves off if the disk gets over 70% full. I'm also working on improving the way the servers respond when they get overloaded, and also working on a new load balancer so it can be smarter about these situations.

You also have to think about all the people here for the community, I'm sure the public and clan forums are constantly being occupied and populated the entire day from people all over the world.
