I've just found out that someone gained access to my account, and posted in chat in one of my games -

"wow this is crazy. I'm not the user master of the dead. I hit refresh on my browser and suddenly im logged in as him!"


I have never shared my credentials, so don't know if this is a hack(doesn't seem to be, since the user actually posted something to indicate he had gained access?) or it is due to a login bug.

My profile currently says that I'm from Maryland but I'm from WA. I'm all confused!! I don't know who the person was, since he didn't say. Please advise..

Were both you you logged on at the time time? That might have something to do with it.

It is possible to be logged in on multiple devices at the same time... I used to play two games at the same time, one online, and the other with the app, on the same account before.

I was inadvertently logged in as "Master of the Dead" and left that message. I will speak directly with Fizzer instead of leaving too many details here. That way others would have a harder time replicating it.

Quite a long time ago (perhaps a year now), I found myself in someone else's account inadvertently. I should have paid it more attention, but alas I did not. In any case, it happened twice in a couple of day time span, and then never again. I leave my account logged in all the time, so when I launched WL I did not go through a login screen - just directly into this person's account. I logged out, then logged back into my account and all was normal (until the second occurrence). I am virtually certain that I was using IE Browser at the time. OS is Windows 7.
I wish I could provide more information, but in any case, I can corroborate that this was not a unique occurrence.
