Hi all (and hopefully Fizzer reads this),

Wouldn't it be lovely to have customizable player tags (somewhat paralleling those seen in Reddit Enhancement Suite)?

What I mean is this: when there's a player that you don't like, you blacklist them. When there's an awful player you don't want to play alongside anymore, you blacklist them. When there's someone who's selfish as a teammate, you blacklist them. On each of these, you add some private notes to differentiate, and move on with your day.

The problem I encounter, is that I don't want to flat-out blacklist all of these players. The reason I blacklist players is to make a note, so that when I see the B, I know to go to private notes and read what I have to say about them. There are a lot of players that I would love to have in my games, but I just don't want to join their team when joining open games.

What I would like to suggest is customizable tags. Either custom text that goes beside a players name, or even to have multiple custom lists, like the blacklist. I would love to have a "bad player" list, alongside a "mean person" list, as well as a "selfish player" list. Because if I'm joining a FFA, I don't mind if the player is selfish. If I'm on the other team, I don't mind having a bad player in the game.

Do any of you guys have this yearning as well?

You can already add notes to their profile. It is a button under their picture on their profile.

Where we are missing notes is in a 1v1 game. There should be a team chat there so you can give yourself notes on the game.

I can kind of go with this. Convenience is always nice but as has been said, notes.

On the "Dashboard" or "My Games" when I hover over a BLd person it comes up with "Blacklisted by you".
I'd like the change that you could change that to say something like "Blacklisted for Bootrate" or other such things.

I'm just not sure what kind of time that would take to implement, and the overhead it might cause. How many blacklisted people do you run into in games anyway? Shouldn't be so much that checking the notes is cumbersome I hope.

So typical. Topic starts with Player Tags end ups being about FFA game notes! No wonder Fizzer is afraid of advancing forum: implementing censorship and stricter moderation. As then there would be maybe 20-30 players left.

Already posted an idea and also saw a Thread before mine some time ago about Player tags: advancing friend and blacklist. I could not agree more. I have played around 300 games and my blacklist consist at least 200 players and reasons to quite broad. But I really would like get faster glimpse why I BS them, not every time pressing the Player profile> notes. Its frustrating.

As we already change the theme here! Notes would be great on every game. One thing is chat what gets wiped every time you leave and rejoin (although we got history). Notes could give you faster overview in 3-day games and shared notes so your team-mates could see what is your suggestion for other moves.. in 4-player 3day games: the chat gets very colourful and it is frustrating to read it all through just to get to the relevant part. + Notes as reminded of what thoughts I had previously, probably enemy moves + positions. Keeping notes in Notepad, it works put I would prefer in-game ones.

But player tags is a must! I would not mind half of my blacklisted persons to join my game - especially in FFA ones!

Uservoice! Make me laught! Even a 10-year-old could understand how easy it is to make 10 alts and 30 votes. So many stupid and not thought through ideas. To people really think either this games development team or any others read this and take into consideration. Pretty much goes for the forum ideas. If forum is like chat-room. Unregulated, unorganized who cares about written ideas? Soon they become history, forgotten. As far as I see Fizzer develops things they we he wants, nothing wrong with it. But using forum uservoice as false belief that people has any control over it is just wrong!

I'm glad we're all on the same page - is there somewhere we can make a formal request to Fizzer?
