Literally have just made the point that religion is violent and not peaceful at all.
By your logic every country who's ever had wars in it's past should currently be considered a warmonger.
Just because a group has had violence previously doesn't make them evil.

I have to say that I do agree with OP that A lot of Christians do not read and follow the Bible, which is what he was basically getting at.
The people who respond to this thread and pick out bible verses they claim to be "Bad" are just as much of hypocrites.
