I hope Fizzer doesn't mind this thread.
What other cool independent games do you like besides WL? (same or different type)
These are some of my favourites:
-Exile 3 and Avernum 5 (VERY old style turn based role playing games)
-The battle of Wesnoth ((J)RPG-style turn based strategy game)
-Castle Wars 2 (simple looking but deep strategy online game)
-Cute knight (very girly adventure game - well, i'm a girly player anyway)

I actually didn't know about any of the other games out there until I upgraded. There was this side by side comparison of prices with other games, which made me check them out. So in fact Fizzer did some free advertising for other games.
