I don't see how you can practice Buddhism. The idea of being a constant reincarnation is not scientifically backable (3x the births than deaths i believe). That said, it's a very good system as far as moral standards.

Personally I don't belive in carnation but in the defence of buhdist. You can't disprove carnation either as it is something souly and transfery and non materialy so...
