Hello, I've run all the base scenarios twice through Siege of Feldmere and am wrapping up a second hardened Ursa Luna run. I'm curious if I should go to Sengoku next or Hardened Pelopenesian. I read on a guide that I should go in AP Order but the tooltip says I should be halfway through Tier 2 advancements for Pelopenesian and I haven't even unlocked tier 2 yet.

What did you spend your AP on up to this point?

Joint Strike - Max.
Army Production + 60%
Cache Money + 45%
Additional Mercenaries + 12.5%

After I wrap this up I'll probably work on more Army and Mercs.

I've SA'd one time. During my first play I invested AP in the wrong items.... this time around I've only invested in

P1
Increased Army Camp Production - 200%
Joint Strike - Maxed
Additional Mercenaries @ 102.5% but will apply AP until maxed.

P2
Mercenary Discount - Maxed

I finished Africa > circled back to Hardened Old Town (hards up to HOT done). Not sure if Ill do Rise and Fall or HS&NC after HOT. I'll continue applying AP to P1 AM until maxed > I'll invest all AP in P2's Increase AP until P3 is unlocked.

The path you pick in terms of level to level isn't super important provided you're not skipping (you should not be skipping levels at this point). What's most important is that you're investing heavily in AM. Keep adding more AM until you can't afford more mercs, then pick up some IASV/MD (IASV > MD), then go back to more AM. Repeat until AM is maxed, then consider other things.

IACP is a really tempting trap, don't fall in.

Agreed. I only put AP into IACP so that P2 would open so I could get the MD.

Thx for the tips.

Another obvious comment is keep digging.

Yeah, I've got digging for artifacts down aggressively and I've been following this guide for the most part: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EHCM-n_4vq_Hv7V1wo9QSTcRP2ba4qRqBh8fOh5PiKk/edit?tab=t.0

I see you're more dubious of IACP, but man does it make life easier in the beginning. I will eventually max Merc upgrades but they really don't do much. I'm currently upgrading my Alloy Value artifact to uncommon so hopefully that will help with money problems, but the Alloy Value is too expensive to unlock. Cache Money feels close to useless.

"(IASV > MD), then go back to more AM"

I'm nearing the completion of Hardened Old Town and have un-purchased/spare mercs. AM @ 102.5% & MD is maxed. I'm going to spill all the AP gained from HOT into IASV, Note: I do have an Epic AV. Thank for the tips.

scholarstones, how does it go?

On to Geopolitics (WWI)

100% IACP
50% Cache Money
35% Additional Mercenaries

Mercs at this point are clearly more useful as I have a Rare AV artifact but progressing is still slow and AC helps a lot, especially as supercharge army camp + clan request a big source of armies.

I was able to do Japan and Copper Creek in < 2 days on the second runthrough. Geopolitics seems quite a bit harder.
