on a more serious note, it is possible to make friends by not being a jerk and being happy to listen to more experienced people, sometimes players form groups separate from clans, but which are also intended for finding partners for team games.

ofc luck also plays a role in this, but you will need some people skills regardless if you want to learn much from anyone decently experienced

If I were you, I'd go to all the clans your interested in and see which one is the best.

TLW focuses on diplomatic games, but we have 1v1 tournaments up most of the time.

TLW has the best forum on Warlight, and if you've been part of TLW in the past, you'd know this.

We are probably the most active clan.

We are so active, we have 49 pages of threads. 25 threads to each page.

We have fleets you can join to meet new players, and games hosted by the fleets.

We have a Kik group and a Skype group. We have influence on many sites such as:

Nation States,
Politics and War,
And some others.

But again, if I was you, I'd visit every clan your interested in.

I've been playing with a group that matches what I'm looking for. Thanks for all of the offers, but I'm not really into getting into inter-clan politics, clan tournaments, sub-forums, etc. Maybe later, but then I'll choose a clan based on my interactions with various members.
