When I was younger, I thought that I couldn't wait to join the Internet and be with cool people.
In hindsight, I probably should have waited a bit longer, and not have logged on just six days after my tenth birthday.
It's kind of embarrassing to see who I was back then, because I know what I did doesn't make sense, and it's cringe, and I hate it so much I would tell my past self to not be so aggressive that I got the PLC annexed.

How young is old enough? If there isn't a limit, what qualities should one have to be allowed to use the 'net?

I started to play this game at 13 years old. But I started to chat in Warzone at least one year later. So I think that 14-15 is maybe good.

I started playing this game at 14, but I believe it depends highly on what you use the internet for. There is a large quantity of educational material and learning games for any age, but when it comes to the most common usages (especially social media), it is beyond my understanding why minors should be allowed to use them. It seems so obvious how much more significant the adverse effects are than the benefits.

The internet can be used in the most constructive and destructive of ways, and learning how to do the prior hardly comes from giving free access long before you can understand the difference.

OTOH unless you are using your real name, or you are posting video, it won't be linked back to you and even if it is, there is no much on the internet, much like your real life cringe, unless you are famous or become viral, nobody will remember. Once in IIRC grade 2 or 4 I called teacher mother by accident. You think she remembers that, or me.

Ditto when they say if you do the porn it will follow you for life, it might, but unless you are a big name, it will get lost in the avalanche of smutty mcsmutsmut. Unless you use your real name that is.

I remember about 10 reading in the paper about how sometimes people get overcome by memories of something they did a long time ago, but in reality it's long forgotten, yes I was a nerdling

And even if someone remembers what you did, and still remember you, and is still in contact with you, you were 10, fornicate them. [Not literally]
