So the Norton Antivirus installed on this computer just stopped 3+ attacks,
and at least one was from when I opened up the Chat page? (no one spoke or posted anything.)
It showed my Warlight username in the Norton AV Report!

Since this isn't my own computer,
the owner, my dad, is most likely going to flip out.

mine did too, but then when I got another antivirus it was fine with it
it depends on wether you virus is ok with pop-ups

I went to the IT guy at my school (if you haven't seen it before it is here)

and as you can guess based on the images they are good with laptops.

The IT guy says that none work properly and the professional ones get into your laptop and slow it down...

Haven't had this problem, and I use Norton.

Norton is awful anyway. False readings and slows down computers dramatically after a while.

Get Kaspersky.

Yeah, why would you be using Norton (or McAffee for that matter) anyway?

well, for starters, the owners of the computer disagree...

seems a lot of people didn't actually read my opening post.

Further, I'd be open to suggestions for my own laptop that I will be getting soon,

but my parents are set on theirs.
