Nice!

Website: Fixed a bug with inviting players to groups through their profile page.

I'm curious, what was the bug? Does it mean that players I used to invite to my group this way never got the invite or something?

All: Fixed clan ordering when resulting points were very close.

Again I'm a bit curious. Was it just a display bug, or could it have affected the final standings?

Yes, unfortunately. You can invite them again now. You can always view a list of players with invites to your group by clicking the "Pending Invites" button.

Notable changes in this update
• Game Groups : you can now have group chats in games
  ◦ Works like an extra team chat
  ◦ Create and manage groups from the private messages screen
  ◦ Group owner can invite anyone from the game to the group (also after creation)
  ◦ Players can leave the group chat whenever they want, but cannot be kicked
• Style refresh : several menus had their style updated
• The number of unread messages in clan and group chats is now stored on the server instead of locally, so they can sync across devices
• In No-Luck Cyclic games, the move order is now displayed directly on screen instead of hidden away in a menu
• Open seats in coin games now expire after 5 days (instead of never)
• The value of Army Cap and Killrate settings are now shown in the tooltip you see when you hover over the icon
• The slider for QM games at once now goes up to 10 (which was already the limit when you typed the number into the text box)
• Idle: markets and mercenary camps now show in a consistent order
• Idle: fixed bugs with queuing tank moves
• Publishing a mod now links to the mod's page in the global chat announcement
• Website: fixed tournament join/decline buttons not being disabled properly
• Website: the starts indicating picks of a teammate no longer show above your own picks
• Various bug fixes for mods

Now I must say, I'm not a fan of these UI updates.
There is something to be said for giving the game a more modern look, but not this way.
It currently looks like the entire game is just slowly withering away with every update...
I'll include some pictures below to illustrate.

Especially the gray icons on a gray background.
If you want gray icons that's fine by me, but dont just yank the color out of the existing icons.
Make proper gray scale icons, or search the internet for monochrome icons you can easily recolor to fit their surroundings.

The game menu has become smaller, which I do like, but once again: these icons...
And in general it feels weird too, because the rest of the buttons in a game are still the old style, and then suddenly you get hit with this very different new style. Combined with the dashboards in the new style, you're then going from new to old back to new.



But at least by only doing small (and less important) bits first, we can provide some feedback to Fizzer on his new style before it's everywhere...

I know many companies/people try to remove color to get a more modern look (which is a trend i generally dislike) but why does a game need that "modernization"?

5.36 kinda had a purpose in adding icons and redesigning the dashboard but 5.37 just takes color away (especially with the gray on gray icons). The new style of the buttons in the ingame menu is good, but i think the colors should have stayed.

For the ingame group chats i thought they would be added as a second list, just like the players for private chat; instead we got an interface that makes accessing the player list more tedious

Yeah it would probably be better if groups and private chats would be split into 2 seperate buttons
