Look if anyone is interested please comment and what are your thoughts about it.

Also a warlight map of the galaxy doesn't have to be a real or specific galaxy.

My idea of a warlight map of the galaxy is just that the map looks like the milky way galaxy, but this map is a fictional galaxy that has millions of star systems from any known fictional sci-fi movies, games, books, and comic books that are related to space travel. Such as halo, mass effect, star trek, warhammer 40k, and many others etc.

My idea of this fictional galaxy in warlight is a large map that has up to between 2000 and 3000 territories that look like small circles, but these circles are star systems that are territories that you start out with and in each circle (aka star system) has a bonus income of well any number that you want, but its just going to be 1 income for each circle (star system). And the fictional galaxy map can become a diplomacy game, a ffa, a space zombie game lol (or reaper/flood survival game if your a mass effect fan and a halo fan), team games, and the map could be a tournament game. But to even things out each arm in the galaxy would have up to 500 cricles (star systems), but only one circle (star system) can take you to another arm of the galaxy or maybe a couple of circles (star systems) can take you to another arm of the galaxy, but it depends on which arm and which cricle (star system) you are going to. Also as a bonus, you can enter in the center of the galaxy that you can take, in the center of the galaxy is just a circle thats in the center. But in order to go to the center of the galaxy you have to go to a specific circle (star system) to get there.

So yeah these are my ideas of making a warlight map of a fictional galaxy. The message and links to the website that i put in there was just to show you an example of galaxy maps that i have found on deviantart. I do not own these maps, i just found these maps that look interesting if they were a warlight map.

Please comment on what your thoughts and ideas are if there was a warlight map of a galaxy. Or if you like my idea, then i would like the help that i need to make this fictional galaxy into a warlight map :)

When I think of a Galaxy Map, my vision has always been something resembling how Civ 4: BTS Final Frontier did it (One Star System, broken down into several planets), how Mass Effect did it (systems of different sizes with mass relays connecting them and star clusters) and general FTL theorems.

We want a flat, oval milky way. No creativity necessary. It doesn't even have to be different from most map designs.

About the 3 you suggested:

Calypso Chronicles seemed a little small.
Rise of Sol had a very offensive-based strategy (whoever wins has an unstoppable position)
Pardus seemed TOO uncreative. Its background is probably the only reason i'd play it (no offense to the manhours that went into it though).

I have a question. Genghis and Ranek do you both know how to create maps in warlight and also how to send in an SVG file to warlight?

btw I always wondered if it was possible to make a map in a kind of cooperation mode, that would be really great for big maps (like mine which would have hundreds of territories) which requires a lot of time for development...

Emperor, an useful link that will explain you everything and how to make a SVG file for Warlight:

and a Youtube video (tutorial of map making):

Angry Panda: thanks for the info on how to make maps. and also i have already been on those websites already they are working out an all, but i prefer to make maps on adobe illustrator.

I am doing alright with making a map on adobe illustrator, and its also my first time making a map for warlight. Well the good news is that i am getting progress on the map, but time and college is just slowing me down.

Btw, I really like your idea of making a full star wars map in warlight. I am a big fan of star wars :) But the problem is that how will someone find a map of the star wars galaxy that is on a flat circle (aka picture of the galaxy) and shows every known planet in the galaxy.

2D or flat maps exist for the Star Wars Galaxy. But many of them are incomplete or unfinished.
