Welcome To The Map Master League! The Map Master League takes the very popular random map feature from the Arbitrary league and combines it with a set of standard settings approved by a test group and a league basis. Here's how it works:

Settings
The map is randomly decided by a random number generator, all maps are eligible as long as they are big enough for that round.
All games are multi day
3 Day auto boot
Normal fog
Random move order
Players turned into AI once surrender (but no retaking command from AI)
Vacations are not respected but the setting of the league means players can drop in and out as they please
Full distribution
No wastelands
0% luck
No cards
Rounding mode is straight round
AIs surrender when only 1 player is left

How The League Operates
Games are created every 2 weeks, players can choose which games they join, or join all of them. But you will be invited to a game every 2 weeks. Once a game is finished, scores are added to a spreadsheet which is publicly visible.
Points are awarded as follows: 1 point for last, 2 for second to last, etc. Your points are recorded from the point you 'lose', if you surrender and your AI goes on to win then your score position is when you surrendered not for the AIs work.
When/If players vote to end then Fizzers Formula (as used in seasonal ladders) is used to decide who wins.
Every other game in the league is FFA and the others are 3 VS 3. So the first game would be FFA, second would be 3 VS 3, third would FFA etc.
Teams and who you would be against are randomly decided by a random number generator.
Scores are recorded for all games across all runnings of the league as well as a champion being crowned at the end of each running. Each running last 8 games (4 months)

Wait, so you are selecting from ALL maps randomly? Not from a nominated pool? Might I suggest you allow players to vote down maps (or you might end up playing really bad ones)?

All maps are up for selection, as long as they are have a number of territories that is at least = to the number of players. (I MAY in extreme circumstances avoid certain maps.)
