also these elite players are saying diplos are bad without ever having played a decent one, to me a decent one is a map with 20 territories/player to avoid delay spam (for the diplo players that means transfering a lot of 1s so your attack passes after your opponent's, so you get the higher killrate if he attacks), people who've don't instantly surrender when theyre losing cause it affects the game (emphasis on instantly, its ok to surrender), and army cap and no commerce to avoid the common 500 turn games

There are discord servers with channels just to post Reich's best/worst moments and rants. Reich is not a diplo host. He is an idea.

He is an idea alright ... And i dont care about his best / worst moments. But like i said before he hosts games so thats good. I do wish we had more competent diplo hosts, there are hardly any afaik. Diplo games fell hard from 2019 onwards.
