WarLight points are never lost (or loosened, or lossed). Once you receive points, they're yours forever.

However, you may be referring to your real-time ladder rating, which can go down when losing games on the real-time ladder.

One thing that's important to realize is that fractional rating points are stored by the system, even if the ratings only show it rounded to the nearest integer. This means while your displayed rating may not have increased after a win, it still likely went up by a fraction of a rating point.

Winning against bad rated players on RT-ladder can decrease your rating aswell.

It happened before in other ladder and it will always happen again with this rating system: in real time ladder if there are more than 1000 points of difference between your true skill meant and the opponent true skill meant you will lose 1 or 2 points.

How low rated opponents do you guys play? :P I just played a guy with 214 rating and nothing bot losses in the RT ladder - I didn't lose any rating (he gained 9 however).(and yes my true skill mean is more than 1000 points higher than his)

It also depends on what their standard deviation was. If it was too high, the rating system is still unsure, and so doesn't penalize you.

A 2000+ rated player loses points against a 1300- player(with low s.d), regardless of the outcome.
