It should have its own profile and everything. And judging by past experience with Warlight's AI, the results would be very amusing and would be unlikely to affect the top players much.

So, what do ya say? Call it Deep Blue by the way, to add insult to injury. ;)

You know, Forza has a bullshit AI called "Drivatar" which is based on the cloud. If we did it that way (so the AI would learn from its mistakes, and be based on how real people play) it would eventually be competitive.

it'll be an insult to kasparov if we name it deep blue(i mean garry kasparov not you)
also an AI which learns from its own mistakes is very very difficult to build on warlight
unlike chess,we have a lot more variables and unlike poker,we have a lot more chances in warlight
but we should have an AI in ladders just for fun,i agree

AIs in the ladders sounds like a fun idea. There should be different versions of AIs, for different ladders.

This is easily solved by making it wait 12 or so hours between turns. It'll probably make 2 turns at once (so it's waiting on the player), and then stop.

A potential problem would be that AIs just don't know how to surrender, though I suppose they could make a rule that would solve that issue. For example, "If the player deploys 2x as many armies as I do (in my point of view) for 3 turns, I will surrender." This rule might seem bad, but then again, it's better than some people who run around.

12 hours might be to much, bt yes, a simple delay would solve that, even a 30 minutes delay as most people wont stay here for hours waiting for the 30 minutes delay to pass and the game wuld certainly take a considerable amount of turns.
