Is it still 68k or so to get it to 50%? I'm primarily interested in seeing how it does > 50% for battle but don't want to try it until I've saved up 70k or so.

AAQ is really expensive, and it is indeed 68k to get it to 50%. But you don't really need it to be 50%, since at 10% its already better than 50% AQ is.

Unlock = 5000 AP
Upgrade = 3000+1000*upgradeCount AP

e.g.
1st upgrade = 3000 AP
2nd upgrade = 4000 AP
3rd upgrade = 5000 AP

If you have it at 10% you will be terrible at battle. I accidentally clicked on it before and ended up just super ascending to get rid of it. I have it at 65% now (saved up 90k or so ) and it’s great at battle. It’s still lacking in that it doesn’t go for Army cache bonuses territories so will run out of steam and won’t try to tackle the largest territory first but otherwise is much better than trimming out territories using auto conquer by running it with 2x thr armies on hand as your hospital saved

so is 65% considered the best, I had it up real high a couple weeks ago and it was so fast I couldn't pick the army camps it would ignore, so I redid my points and set ut at 10% now its to slow, so I need to reset my points again today, what is best setting please

Aaq isn’t better than going manual. For battle I don’t know. 65 is better than 50. I stopped because I ran out of ap and am working on getting all the tech achievements (right now on hardened China hardened frisk and 30 year war) but I will probably try 70 This is advanced auto conquer - a phase 4 enhancement - not auto upgrade army camp which I have at 100 for battle and rarely use in idle except when starting new levels

I found the same thing on the auto upgrades. Usually use through the first two markets then turn off or get tons of leftover mercenaries and no $.

But the whole purpose of the market strat is to use money to make mercs (and buy techs in the merc discount and workers cache trees ) so how is leftover mercs - to get you to the next hospital/market - bad?
