In Warzone Idle you can take five (5) artifacts and upgrade them into one (1) artifact of a higher tier. I suggest we should also have the ability to scrap artifacts. This would allow players to take artifacts they acquired, either through random purchases or dig sites but don’t want to use, and downgrade them for upgrading other artifacts. Scraping artifacts should yield three (3) artifacts of the same type at one (1) tier lower to make scraping artifacts less desirable compared to upgrading artifacts.

I would suggest 4 as result. One higher tier is worth 5 artifacts of the lower tier. You need 4 artifacts to upgrade one artifact.
So getting 3/5 is really bad, 4/5 would be ok.
This would be the same, as the possibility to reset your AP for 100coins. Here is already a possibility to correct mistakes.

This idea would make collecting a specific artifact very easy.

If you get a rare artifact from a digsite you can scrap it into 3 uncommons. Those can be scraped into 9 commons and they could be scraped into 27 poors. Having suddenly 27 poors would be great if you need a particular artifact.

I would also like to see the ability to trade artifacts with clan members. You shouldn't be allowed to give them away, because that would lead to farming through alts. But it trade them within a clan is a zero sum activity.

This is interesting, but even if it was the same, i would rather not have the same downgraded artifact multiple times.

I would rather see it move to a system where you can trash any arbitrary artifact and get 4/5th of its value in upgrade points.
And with those upgrade points, you can then buy upgrades to artifacts when you saved up enough of them.

Upgrading a poor to a common would cost 4 points, a common to uncommon 16 points, etc.
