All we would be doing is giving BR the CHANCE to provide more of a CHALLENGE to the rest of us.

Our player is not inactive. He simply didn't join before JSA started the tournament. I would like to add that he started the team tournaments later so I don see why he had to start the 1v1s then. The BR entry joined the tournament then went inactive. In my opinion, this does not merit an opportunity for replacing him.

My opinion is meaningless anyway - it is for the organisers to decide. I don't really care either way, though if it does come to a vote mine is no.

The player which has been losing all his games IS inactive - otherwise why REPLACE him with ANOTHER player ??

If your reasoning is that the player BEING REPLACED is NOT INACTIVE then the logical conclusion is that THOR should play all HIS games HIMSELF

Aranka I am fine with Thor playing his games but he is slightly busy at the moment and Polakillo isn't. The vote has happened - Polakillo will play. Aranka you aren't making yourself clear... I don't understand your points - On one side, you have someone who joined the tournament and got booted, on the other, you have a player who didn't join the tournament as he was too busy.

The point is that people were chosen to represent their clan. If they did not fulfil their obligation, that is not the other clans fault - it is down to the clan to choose responsible members.

Not saying it will happen, but do we have a plan for what will happen if one of the other clan members declines these custom made games?

As you can see from the first game, I make it as clear as can be expected in the chat and game title (almost completely copying the tournament game names). If they decline, I will recreate the game. If they decline that (and don't message) it is for the administrators to decide what the penalty is (probably they lose the game).

Wait, so because your person didn't join the league, if our guys now decline a randomly made game twice, they're going to be penalised?!


And what about if they don't join it for 3 days? What about a week? Or 2 weeks?

If they don't join for two weeks I think it should count as a win.

Look at the game I made today - how much clearer does it need to be that it is part of the Clan League?

But if it was part of the league, then the option to decline (and the option to force-join) wouldn't be there..

Also, what if they have a valid reason for not joining? They might be busy, or they might be concerned about a particular setting..

My proposal, if somebody don't want to play that game (decline), he (and his clan) can win that game without play (Warlighters lost that point).

This is a personal proposal (not official, couse I am a simple member not a leader :) ).

But that goes too far the other way, I think - if this is the case, everyone can freely decline the game and win a point, without playing the game!

Hopefully, everyone has the decency to play the spare game, but I think there are issues which must be considered.

Clearly the only answer to decide declined games is to let me roll a 6 die, and let 1-4 be winning for non-Warlighter and 5-6 be a win for Warlighters. :3

I don't want to extend the discussion about Igorsouza's issue, if the replacement is legal ou immoral, whatever. I think he's now back to play. And even if he's not free to play I will not replace him. This Clan League is being very stressful for a lot of people, and we BRs won't create more trouble or discussion. Despite of our last place, we're having good times and this is our main goal.

But please, for the next league let's create clear rules for almost every possible case, even if we have to write 10 pages together.

This will be the only season with the "Arun Rule" and will not be allowed in the future ever. If the opposing player declines twice, then that team gets a win. If the team is more worried about winning than playing the game, let them do that. I personally think some will play anyways to be fair but if they decline, they should not be penalized for the {Warlighter's} error.

What is going on in this league (just reading the thread for the first time)?

What is with all the replacing? We have many losses to boots/inactives in Group A, nobody seems to be complaining about that. Ultimately it is up to the clan leader to field a group of players that will be there the entire league season.

I think if we want a sub-provision, we can look into that, but it needs to be the same rule for all clans across both leagues.

Any updates here?

Meh, last update's on page 4, though...

Mannerheim is the first to 4 wins; he also has no losses.
Miyagi, Arun, Eririn, and FlyingBurrito all have 3 wins; Miyagi has 2 losses, Arun & Eririn have 1 loss, and Burrito has none.

On the other hand in terms of losses, you have Falcoun, Frostbite, Charles, and Gror with 3 losses each.
