inactive players cant change their names because they're inactive... duh...

It means forum trolls need to play to change their names, but tbh 5 levels at low levels is easy.

Interesting change, I thought that the old system for name changing was just fine.

I do like it for dealing with trolls. But it hurts people like Fridge who do not troll and will have a hard time changing later. Maybe it should cut off at a certain level and then not require 5 levels after that?

I'd like to see a hybrid system , using both levels and time with a certain ratio for the two.

I think after a certain level (40?) it should be on how much XP you get, not 5 levels. Currently it is 40,000 points for 1 level, so about 200,000 for me to change my name once. I don't have too much of a problem with that, just when i start getting into level 50+ it will be getting close to 100,000 per level, which would mean 500,000 points per name change, which is much too much :/

wouldn't expect that. According to what Fizzer wrote:

Name changes are now allowed every 5 levels instead of every 20 days. This allows easy name changes when a player is new and not well-known, but makes them more infrequent for well-known players.

he want to reduce change name frequency and your idea goes opposite way :P

I think it's a great idea.

Ok but do me a fovor and explain why more experienced playrs should be PUNISHED by not allowing them to change names? (currentlyu it unables them to switch clans for example..)
