-Aus & NZ/Poland 2/Czech & Slovakia/GB & Ireland 2 - Poland 2 should oppose #1, so they go in 16/17 match-up unless Poland 1 swaps from above. Coin flip Aus & NZ/Czech for slot 17, then flip 18/19 with GB & Ireland 2.
-Canada/France 2/USA Central 3 - France opposite side from France 1. USA Central 3 not in 21 (unless #2 changes). No coin flip needed, just based on countrymen.

2 remarks / questions on the templates:

* The 3v3 seems to be random teams or a 6 people FFA instead of two fixed teams of 3.
* Boots do NOT turn into AI's, so there is no way to take back the AI?
(I would certainly prefer that the AI could be taken back after a boot.)

I don't know about AI. Vacation is honoured and if AI make picks/make a turn you lost anyway, so doesn't matter.

Ok sorry I've been away and I haven't been reading through this, A few questions I would like to ask?

1. In my case do I and my team just play Poland 1, then if we lose we're out, if we win we go to the next round?
2. How many times do you play each template. E.g 2 1v1's, 2 2v2's, 1 5v5 ETC

@ Gnuffone: early in game that is completely true. But if you have already advantage and it's just 1 turn, it makes quite a difference. Losing a player may shift the game in that case, but the AI would just be an annoyance.
Also, against very good teams one turn of AI may kill you indeed, but against weaker teams, it's not a problem.

2 2v2 (you haven't to put same team for both 2v2)
2 3v3 (same that 2v2)

3)isn't my decision, let's see what Dunga say. Vacation is honoured, if you get booted is your mistake, turn in AI is waste time imho.

I'm with Math Wolf: Boots should turn into AIs, and we should be able to take back control from the AI.

Boots were turned into AIs in the current Nations Cup (the one just finishing) and I see no reason to change that.

I think the 5v5 needs to be worth 5 points or the matcup can result in a tie after all the games are completed

Chris: I assume scoring system is the same as last tournament? If so: 1v1s are worth 1 each (total 4), 2v2s are worth 1 each (total 2), 3v3s are worth 2 each (total 4) and 5v5 is worth 3. Total 4+2+4+3=13, no risk of ties.
