Well, first of all, i check whether i would want to play a game on the map again, since warlight allows to sort maps on the rating the player gave them,
this means for example that artwork will not make me rate it higher even if i like it a lot.
To get a good rating, a map must bring something interesting to a template i play.
I 've seen a lot of maps that are just a bunch of bonuses huddled together, now, i don't dislike those maps in particular, but if i want to play on such a map i 'll just pick another one every time.
poland for example has bonuses surrounded by other bonuses, making these outer bonuses terrain for movement, blockades and fighting, very interesting with correct card-settings.
And just like Henns, i 'm against hacking the warlight-server to manually change my ratings and choose to use the website :P
Guys ... seriously...this is the map-development forum, not the help forum.
Read the question again, and again, until you go all zen and understand the question.
Mainly a bunch of bonuses huddles together,
bonuspoints for a few interesting overlapping bonuses.
I'm not sure how Brussel will work in a game, it could be annoying, it could give an interesting twist, or it could not matter at all(i suspect the last)
I'd rate it 4 since i 'd want to try the map out, though, i cannot rate it until i have played a game on it so i could change my mind by then :P
