Anyone who calls Idle a good game hasn't played any good idle game in their life. Time to get downvotes?

To each their own and I don't want to downvote you, but I played plenty of incrementals. With the exception of kittens game, this is the only one to hold my attention for more than a month or so.

With all the balance problems it has, WZ Idle's artifact & advancement systems give a sense of progress which doesn't fade away after a few games. It's not a clickfest, doesn't require constant babysitting (which is nice if you have a job and family) and although there's a P2W aspect, it doesn't imbalance the game too much.

And then you ascend and you lose even stuff you've paid money for.

It's an Idle game with a starting Max Idle Time of 2 and it takes at least a month to get that up to a reasonable amount. I'm glad you enjoy the game but I'm not sure if your reasoning makes sense, Death.

...Like pretty much every other mobile incremental game out there. In the end, you choose whether you want to pay money for a quick boost or not. The more people who choose to do so, the better for the WZ classic community, no?

As mentioned in the top post of this page, "An Idle level take weeks to complete while a classic game takes MONTHS to complete". I had no issue losing some idle time in the first few weeks (the equivalent of a short classic match), and feel no need to min-max everything.

I was also happy playing against myself, given that the alternative with WZ classic is playing against a bunch of mostly kids who mail-spam map invite links or who downvote everything that goes against the echo chamber, like my first post in this thread.

WZ Classic has single player too and the average MD MP game ends in about a week at most.

But thanks for detailing your thoughts and confirming you are, sadly, not Rivanna returned :(
