Most of the people that Arun listed are not really lurkers, they are plain inactive and will die after missing second straight vote. So I picked out someone who actually said something.

It may sound like silly reasoning but at this point we know nothing, and although the chance that we luckily lynch a wolf is very low, we have to pick someone. Sorry Green. I pick you.

The list could probably be bigger, but then again too many names might be confusing. It might be worth considering that if the people on the list remain lurkers that they won't be wolves or just bad wolves. Just my 2 cents.

For some clarity, Arun, are you, Ace and His Balls all in the same faction? None of you are in mine.

I´m not against your scheme as lurking ruins the game, but each of the factions should get a fair share in the hammerplay, no?

I won't confirm or deny anything. I don't expect anybody to divulge their faction for now. Ace and Balls were all for lynching lurkers; I trust their honour to help me go through with it.

Pretty long odds for three of us to land with the same faction though..

Saying that, I know what you mean. But after lurkers are gone, things are different and the situation will no doubt change significantly.

But if you try to get things super even, then you're taking every person by hand and telling them: you vote this guy, you vote that guy, you vote for him... Now what intel do we get from that?

Fair enough, we can review things (faction inbalances) after this first lurker lynch.

I see this early game as an alliance between the factions. Wolves are infinitely more dangerous to the village as a whole than the factions and we should work together to reduce faction fighting whilst getting rid of them.

I think the only way to do this is via a transparent balancing effort, so as not to confuse faction balancing with wolfish behaviour. The most obvious way to do this is to vote out a wolf from each faction each turn, skipping a faction´s turn if a wolf takes a bite from them. Thoughts?

How we go about organising that is the difficult part.

@Green: True, but that would give us a clue as to who the wolves are. My own faction has spoken of picking off the Wolves (and lurkers) from other factions first. I assume every faction has that basic carnal thought. I don't see how this can help the village in anyway as ONLY* Wolves have a link between the factions that can toss the vote one way or the other.

Ok, first of all Arun, if you're going to take the leadership (like you should) and then include non-confirmed villagers in your decision making circle, you need to explain why you are including them.

On principle, I can't go along with that and if opposing a confirmed villager makes me a target then so be it.

what if the two you are working with are in fact wolves using you as a tool to kill off non-wolves?
