I have to admit, this phase of Idle is the most fun I've had since my first ascension. I thought I would get stuck into a repetitive cycle of rinse and repeat, instead the strategies continue to evolve and at a much faster pace. Every single superascension opens up more optimized routes within the levels, different strategies become available and I find myself trying something new everyday. I really did not expect this.

Now for the interesting part, with Insane A^B coming online in SAsc #59, I managed to cut down my SACp consumption by 60% (I now use 2 instead of 5) at the cost of adding about 45 minutes to my run (15 minutes x3 levels). This allows me to stretch my SAC (ah!) supply until SAsc #104 instead of #75.

Those 15 minutes over 3 levels will be cut off to real-time play (<5 minutes xlevel) by picking 100+ AP twice. I also came up with a simple rule to easily calculate when to pick 100 AP instead of the 25% bonus, independently of the set of artifacts available. If anyone is interested I can spend some time to make a post. Suffice it to say, my superskip to Nobunaga is still safe for a while longer.

Since SAsc #50 I reactivated my Idle Premium subscription for one more month. In this phase, it sped up my progress by a factor of 4, a sharp improvement compared to the first time. One month is also more than enough to use the tank to claim all the powers in the post-sasc levels where cache-hopping in not an option (so basically everything except 7 and 30 Years War). By the end of the month, I should be able to deal with the surviving hospital upgrades with 4x TW.

Wow Jonners yeah with 4 leg artifacts dropping one feels wrong, and I think itll only take 3 months to get a fifth. On the other hand, 3 leg might be better than 1 insane depending on what they are.

Still stacking +25% AP and I should be able to skip the extra HCCC/HFL after HOT very soon. Afterwards, it will take about 30-40 additional supers to skip one level above whether I choose +25% AP or +100 starting AP.

Hi, everyone. I'm Jeff. It's been 10 days since my last super-ascension, my 8th.

Yeah I guess this time I really thought it would be different. With 150% AP and my insane cards, av and a$b, along with my weaker yet still epic and upgrading ability to change the fabric of time, and even with a pretty rare ability to supersize my manhood, I thought I'd just tear through every thing and have a blast. But then, Breaking Green. Man, it just broke me. 67.5% extra mercs, level 4 hosp, still had to draft out. Definitely wondered why I didn't make better life choices. So, now, do I keep trying, hoping that one magic card will make all the difference, or just recognize the futility of it all and move on.

Well, anyway, thanks for listening to me.

As that was literally no faster than the last one, I think I need some core artifacts before bringing my %AP any higher. So bringing EA$B along with my LAV and LSAC.That will probably help with drafting midgame. Maybe try and get a HB or TW for the next arti? I think I'm arti only until I get the A$B to L

A good A$B really helps a lot, but so does more AM. You need quite a lot of SAs under your belt until you can be rid of drafting at the end of levels. HB is the other critical artifact, although since a Rare is perfectly fine, you can mostly get away with just digging a new one each SA until you have room to drag one along (although sometimes RNG will stab you in the back).

The AP vs slot debate in early SAs is always tough though. You really want both.
