Dig speed goes from 100 to 120 to 140 “rate units”

No that is not how the dig speed bonus works. The official description "+20% faster artifact digging" is misleading. I would've interpreted the description in the same way as you did as well, but that's not the actual effect of the bonus.

People who chose the bonus figured out that the effect for choosing the bonus is multiplying dig times by 0.8, which is the same as saying that it increases the dig speed by 25% multiplicatively. That's not what you (or I) would have expected by reading the sentence "+20% faster artifact digging".

So the dig speed bonus is indeed exponential. It's way better than what the description suggests. I still wouldn't recommend getting it though lol

lol thanks for correction. To be honest, the way this upgrade works is actually more intuitive to me than how all the other upgrades work.

So I guess discounts (mercenary cost, army camp cost, hospital cost, dig speed) “multiply” while improvements (everything else) “add” to the base rate.

After Ursula Luna: 1410.65 ap, unlock Phase 2 and buy aq.
After Breaking Green: 16806.65 ap, start buying phase 2 stuff.
After Hardened Far Land: 30233.53 ap, finish phase 2, and buy skip 2/start w/ tech 4
skip to Europe 1066 AD: 34519.44 ap, finish phase 1(am)
skip to Hardened Old Town (run 3 times): 74861.13 ap, unlock phase 4

To answer your question, you need to spend at least 100k AP in phase 4 advancements in order to unlock super ascension. Once you have done that, you will see a super ascension button at the top of your idle dashboard. Click it, select your chosen perk, and away you go.

Didn't we SAsc for the first time with like a week difference? Now you're at 6 and I am still at 1. But I am really close to 2nd, need 12 more uncommens.

My first super was 2022-12-08, and then it took me roughly 1.5 months per super on average. Going for +AP is usually faster than collecting a legendary artifact.

Yeah, and I need a total of 2 Leg+2 epic to turn my 3 Leg into ins+2 epic. Future SAscs will be way faster, since I won't ever dig that much in one SAsc again
