@pi - People are preferring AP bonus because, if completing multiple Sasc rapidly is your goal, there is no question that the +25% AP has a more direct impact on your ability to collect 134K AP.
Also, above a certain level, you are Sasc-ing too rapidly to benefit from digs anyway.
Like many things in WZI, once you commit to a strategy it becomes counter productive to diverge from it, since so many things increase exponentially.
I can’t think of a single thing in the game that increases exponentially…
You could maybe make the case that market returns increase exponentially with Alloy Values I guess? That’s a bit of a stretch though.
People choose (and re-choose) AP because it’s the fastest way to gain more artifacts. If it wasn’t for the WZIB rewards and HCCC reward I think dig speed would be the consensus choice.
Most important question is "How shall this poor little artifact feel?!". It knows you have 20 slots and only take 17 with you. But although you have the space for it, it was dropped. ðŸ˜

SAsc dig speed rewards stack multiplicatively, so that would be increasing exponentially (here got 34 digging speed rewards back on page 12 and cut dig time by 99.975 %).
Same @ Arcorann, I have ~54 dig speed buffs, and dig speed increase shows as "100%" in the stats box
The longest digs take ~2 secs, all 263 Hex digs take about 5-6 mins
So ~6-7 repeat Hex digs can get you a couple Insanes ... but it's also arti upgrade Nightmare and slows down the UI vastly, so it can take a few hours just doing all the dang upgrades
Dig speed goes from 100 to 120 to 140 “rate units” so dig speed increases linearly and dig time follows 1/x. Neither is an exponential function but, admittedly, dig time is probably close enough for colloquial use.
I wasn’t objecting to the semantics though, the premise of “cluster your advancements in one thing” is just bad advice when most things (artifacts, advancements, army camps, mines, etc.) have *diminishing* and not exponential returns.
