I do indeed, but it has come at the cost of a lot of progress.

I have more or less gotten myself into a feedback loop now where I don't have enough extra AP to Super faster, so I still have lots of time to dig, which results in yet another legendary or insane I don't want to throw away...

In hindsight I should gone for +25% a lot more often and sacrificed earlier, but at least I got a great set of artifacts now.
This SA I should probably not even start digging, then there can't be any good artifacts leftover at the end either 😅

But I'm also not sure if my preference for artifacts over AP is to blame for that, because I suspect the issue is more that I only open idle a couple times per week instead of micromanaging it 24/7.

I also #blameJK for your persistence in refusing to learn how to cache surf. That turns the back half of your SAs into a multi-month slog instead of a day or two of grinding.

You must be doing something very different from what I was doing for SA10. Looking back at my notes, at that point I had almost completely eliminated any need for SAC. Even the most persistently annoying level (Breaking Green) was down to a single SAC for me. HPelo, Geopolitics, CCC and HFL (first pass only) were also 1x SAC, everything else was 0x SAC.

CB probably helps, and I made the HB from nothing late in the run, didn't even swap it in a single time this super.

I guess I don't "need" the first use of SAC to beat levels, as I could just wait longer for camps to get to that first market. This will be the first run with my ACB fully functional as well, and I skipped using SAC on a couple levels already. I'm sure there will be a crossover point at which the slot on cooldown isn't worth it compared to passive artifacts, but I don't know where that is.

Currently needing SAC after market strategy on KPX-breaking green + HFL + EH. Need it twice for odo nobunaga since I run out of armies hard (though that was before the ACB finished upgrading).

That's what the CRA (Clan Request Armies) is for, it's the perfect bridge to the first market and doesn't chew up a slot that you can use for CB (together with HB and usually A$B). Waiting to use a SAC for every single level is glacially slow and chewing up a slot is very annoying once you have decent HB + A$B + CB.

Worse, it eats two slots. One for SAC and one for TW to make sure I can use SAC three times a day. Yeah so far I'm skipping about a third of the beginning-of-level SACs.

I may need a more active clan to rely on CRA that much.

Chewing up two slots would definitely have a big negative impact.

For what it's worth, TLA is a great clan for Idle. CRAs rarely linger for long.
