My artifact pile was getting a little rare-heavy,
and I got common replacements for three of them,
so I decided to do an early rare-to-epic merge.
I may end up losing some spares next time around.

First SA. I chose artifacts: IACB, IACB and ISAC. So far I'm clearing the first ten maps in 8-10 hours, not really using SAC until map 9. I seem to be finishing at the end of the boost allowing to start the next map and building up a camp to use SAC usefully when it's cooled. I thought it would be slow, but it's not bad and progressing nicely.

El Hombre you must have been playing a long, looong time to get 3 insanes on your first SA!

Just as a note, what you've picked makes the first 10 levels go really quickly, but only the A$B helps much in the later levels. Get at least a legendary AV. And Leg TW helps with everything from battles to lowering cooldowns. Not getting +AP% definitely slows things down.

About to do my 26th... still don't have a IACB, but have IA$B. Down to about 5 days if I rush and don't wait for upgrades. Eventually I'll have enough slots there will be no need for waiting.

So... +350%AP, 14 slots. Insane A$B. Leg ACB, AV, SAC, TW, RCB, CB,MD, QS, IM Epic: CD, MCB, TS. Rare: HB

Soon to upgrade the Army Camp Boost. Now farming 30 Years War for skip levels, which turns out isn't that hard with the IM artifact & TW.

4 years and 4 weeks to complete my insanes and got my phase 4 complete @ same time. I have no idea where the time went.

Well, especially once you get AV and +AP, it goes much faster.... so much so that those with many SA's behind them say it's no longer "idle" as there's not a lot of waiting.

When you get to that point, look up the forum post about Hex Earth, It's the most efficient way to get AP once you get 6 skip levels in phase 3 + use superpower skip levels. Though try not to use 3 IMs if you can, they run out quicker that way!

Wow that was significantly faster! the ETW helped, as did largely ignoring digging, and doing no levels above Australia besides EH and HE. This next one is going to go slower as I burn my E TW/TS/A$B along with the reward ETS and Ewhateveridig to make an LA$B this go-around. Based on this run I ought to look at TW for my next legendary after this though! Didn't get HB at all in over 50 artifacts, annoyingly enough. maybe it's my 5th legendary.

Powers update:

Since last update, I managed to stretch my SAC (lol) powers quite a lot by picking starting AP and cutting consumption by 60%.
However they won't last much longer and TW will run out way before SAsc #200. Since I can superascend quickly, I decided to chain-pick the dig bonus for a while and then stop for 2 or 3 weeks to upgrade all my legendaries to insane and make up for the lack of powers. Meanwhile I'll get the replay achievement and do the tech run of the post SAsc levels. It's going to be fun to replay all the levels!
