And yet in another forum thread, Masters raises the issue that they don't get matched vs. MH enough and recommended a rank & matching algorithm change to incite MvMH matches. With this perfect mesh of never meeting by choosing different templates, even with a changed algorithm, they still wouldn't get matched up. Was that thread just to throw people off the trail?

These results would indicate that all Masters members like the same templates in the same order and consistently pick them, and this perfectly inversely aligns with the preferences of MH.

So if Masters consistently prefers "Strat mme > mme ld ma > se autodist > se picks > mme commanders = se bomb", does MH just happen to prefer these in the reverse order?

Or is the claim that the set of pasted links were freak events and not representative of the overall matches? This technically isn't a rule break, so no reason to hide it if there are agreements in place.

MH actually benefits greatly from this "deal".

The system is designed so that all clans that actively participate (except the very best and the very worst) have around 50% winrate.
That's why they use clan war rating to match clans.

MH has a 56% winrate, which comes mostly from not playing Masters. It should be around 50%.
I'm not even going to bother to calculate Masters winrate. It's out of this world and besides the point, they're the best clan actively participating and aren't meant to hover around 50% winrate.

I don't think MASTER clan is colluding. If you have any access to M'H-internal chats, you'll notice that Norman and others strategize a lot (in terms of timing, template selection) to maximize bang-for-buck in M'H participation in Clan Wars.

My bet is that M'H is targeting templates on which they can expect higher win rates (not sure if they're even intentionally avoiding MASTERs), while MASTER clan is targeting templates that do not give people cancer. And so they become ships passing each other in the night, without direct clash.

I'm the inventor of the M'Hunters bomb meta. Normally people play a template and each new strategy gets gradually better but I scratched my head and thought that the old ways of playing the bomb was inferior to something completely different. I'm pretty proud about that. It took hours of work to establish the meta and some of my clanmates, whom I have initially trained, have built upon it and are probably better than me now. I also made a written guide and a video guide for my clanmates where I explained the thought process. We activelly discuss bomb games on our Discord and are thinking together how to solve certain tough cases. For us each bomb template is a puzzle which we try to solve.

Now that IS funny.

It is a simple algorytm. You start with a (random) chain of how much you like the given template. If you win a lot on the template, it goes up in your chain. If you lose a lot, it goes down. Start with two good clans and two bad clans. What happens is, those good clans will evade each other and bad clans will play the same templates.

Yes, I had a personal experience when Masters fought The Boiz Army in 2v2 together. (My teammate ended up cussing me out that game and I left the clan and put him on my block list)

That's a terrible example, it's SE vs MA, those two templates are not equal by any means.
I see also you picked ONE slot which kinda may support your theory.
