Hey Ironheart :)

from the first look i think that you should first try to even out the size of the territories. There seems to be some bonuses with a lot of more territories then other and they still take the same space that can be a bit confusing.
The map seems interesting though and i like that payed attention to the separating line they are well distanced and clean :)))
As for the bonuses the basic thing to do is territories -1, but what i try to do is make a ratio of the bonus territories versus the time it takes to conquer them and versus the sides it takes to defend them :) so if a bonus has 6 territories and takes 2 turns to take it but is attacked for 6 sides should be worth more than 5. But thats just my way of reasoning and doesn't have to be right :))
The best thing to do is test the map and see how it goes.
And of course i would like to test :)))

Aestethical:

Cut Egypt at the same line as Libya.
There is some unneeded inkscape path hiding below island of Sharqi in Tunisia.
I really don't like the borders in northeastern corner, where it seems you have used simplify tool too much. Especially greek islands.
I see you were going to add only coastal bonuses, but then there was a hole in northern Italy, so you added Piemont - you should add Lombardy as well, as there still is a hole...

Technical:

The little islands west of malta belongs to Italy, except for those just besie the coast of tunisia.
You forgot Lesbos.
You forgot Djerba.
You forgot croatian islands.
You forgot to make many bonuslinks in France/Italy, the rest if fine.
Israel's border goes south to the sea and Israel have very short coastline at the red sea.

But those are just little things. Anyway, good job!

Incaman glad to see you are still around on warlight and yes it does have a lot of big bonuses and i counted at least 7 territories with 8 territories or more which i hope to reduce later.
Lower Egypt and Sinai--->Sinai,Lower Egypt
Cyrenaica--->North Cyrenaica,South Cyrenaica
Tripolitania--->North Tripolitania,South Tripolitania
Marmara--->European Marmara,Asian Marmara
I don't know how i can decide algeria more though.
I don't understand your formula much but it seems it can work.

Issander i didn't forget those bonuslinks they just did not show in warlight because i used different names to the ones i used in inkscape which i will change.I was hoping no one would notice that little path in sharqi.I will have to add lesbos,djerba and croatian islands then and i can see what you mean by Israeli coastline in red sea.After a while of thinking i finally got what you mean by cut egypt as same line as libya and i can do that.I debated heavily with myself whether i should add lombardy and i thought if i added lombardy, d'aosta,trentino, however the issue of the hole is interesting.I think i know what you mean by the northeastern corner and that is the product of using the round node not the simplify tool however i can only fix Marmara.

Should i add lombardy?

Should i add d'aosta,lombardy and trentino (rest of italy)?

Great looking map :)

I believe it`s a list of map testers somewhere, don\t know where it`s though.. The large bonuses need to be smaller-I agree on that point.

I can test if you need testers :)

Is there any current version available to see?

If still looking for testers I'd liked to.

Looks interesting!

I was thinking about making a Mediterranean one, but more based on sea travel, maybe on the style of http://warlight.net/Map?ID=7404 Europe 1066 AD, basing the bonuses on middle age context and commercial ports...

Do you think it would be nice?

Is this map too crazy?

Still have to name territories and make bonuses, wich would be only on land...

In the public Mediterrean map, it looks like Split-Dalmatia and Dubrovnik-Neretva in Croatia should connect to Barletta-Andria-Trani-Foggia.
