This is because Fizzer has programmed the site to work as the mobile app. You can only use the little red arrow to go back, since it loads everything in the same page instead of navigating to a new url.
Fizzer making things work as the mobile app is also the reason you cannot middle click any links to open them in a new tab. Fizzer seems to have forgotten that a computer mouse has more than 1 button it....
Slightly unrelated but I also find it extremely annoying that all forums lead back to the forum list, but clan forum leads back to the clan page. Gets me every time.
