Even assuming you're better than THD (which is debatable), you're not even close to BIA and PE, who are currently bottom of Div C. Remember, being better than D and being good enough for C are very different things...

You keep forgetting that you'll be facing two clans that relegated from C, which currently are BIA and PE.
You're not beating them, which means you're not promoting.
Not to even mention THD, or any other clan joining CL.

Yeah what Kratt said; to be able to promote from D to C under normal circumstances, you have to be able to out-compete not only the clans from D, but also two of the relegating clans from C. And considering how close div C is this season, if you're "not good enough for C", you won't be good enough to beat out the relegated clans for promotion. Also as Kratt said, you've also got to factor in other clans joining (of which there are plenty of very solid ones that could) as well as the current D clans... Not looking good for Excel...

Div E used to exist, but its no longer needed. If too many clans join, I suspect Div D will be split into D1 and D2
