While launching Idle, you created /r/WarzoneCom and /r/WarzoneIdle on reddit. You've also added links to the Discord and Reddit (/r/warlight) on the Warzone home page.

What are your future plans for the communities around Warzone?

A lot of your updates clash with vocal player feedback (e.g., Idle updates, killing INSS maps, adding a 40-member cap on clans). And sometimes you also have very quick turnaround on implementing player-suggested proposals (e.g., changing rewards for Clan Wars so that the top 10 clans, not just the top 2, got coins). As a game designer, how do you decide which feedback to act upon and which player subgroups to prioritize (e.g., casuals vs. competitive players)? You mentioned on Discord that the alternative to Idle was making Warzone itself pay-to-win. Could you elaborate on why that was the alternative? Was Warzone's dependence on ad revenue becoming a serious challenge?

Compared to its peers in the online Risk space, Warzone is consistently more innovative and ahead of the curve. For example, you migrated to Unity and then UJS years ago while many of the other online Risk sites only escaped Flash late last year or are still in that process. Why do you think Warzone does such a better job here?

Do you have any plans for making the moderation on this site more transparent, consistent, predictable, and/or accountable? E.g., sharing with the players the secret detailed copy of the rules that the moderators actually enforce? Or clearing up confusing statements in the published rules?

Noooooo, pls don't remove Vacations. When life gets busy, it's better to "Pause" gaming life rather than surrender or get booted from all games, or the even worse option which is, b/c we all have mobiles, we "make time" during work/vacations/other important things to play turns in our games, at which point in becomes a chore and isn't fun (and would be better off "paused" for a few days).

Vacations are especially useful for newbies who are just easing into the game, especially the multi-player multi-day side. When, e.g., exams happen IRL it gives them an opportunity to put the game on hold without wrecking their stats or ongoing games- and to be able to come back in a clean, minimally disruptive way.

Vacations should be reworked but not destroyed.

He hasn't announced anything yet, but I asked if vacations would be reworked, and his response was that he's been mulling over removing them entirely b/c he feels that with there now being a mobile app, people don't need vacations, as they just play on the go now. But that's actually missing the point. We want to be _able_ to play on the go, but don't want to _have_ to play on the go. When real life gets busy, playing games is a chore = not the point = need a Vacation.

did I miss the stream? if not, (It's Monday now) I want to ask if we will ever get LD on overlapping bonuses. I have heard this question asked before and the reply was always a question along the lines of "how does the game know which bonus you're trying to deploy in?" the answer is simple: the smallest one. my solution would of course only work on maps with smaller bonuses were completely contained within larger ones, themselves completely contained within the largest bonuses. But it's a start, you know? Maybe on maps where a bonus had territories contained by multiple different bonuses, a little dialogue could pop up (like the one that suddenly showed up asking about attacking or transferring to teammates) asking which bonus you want to deploy in.
