I'm not playing, but do have a little experience and think it's important to get a few details cleared up, before they might become an issue:
You are an ANGEL
Unlike an ordinary VILLAGER, each night you ask me to in secret to protect a fellow player.
(..)
Be careful - there may be a situation where you accidentally protect a WOLF.
Question: how long does the protection last; only during the night, or also the following day? While it is possible for a Wolf to die at night (courtesy of the Vigilante), this is not a very big chance, meaning the Angel(s) need not worry too much about this possibility. If the protection extents onto the next day's lynching, an Angel's choice becomes much more difficult...
You are a VIGILANTE
Unlike an ordinary VILLAGER, you have two bullets, and can shoot any player of your choosing at night.
You have two bullets for the whole game, so you can either use them immediately, to make the most of them, or save them, but risk dying before they are used - it's your choice!
Be careful - there may be a situation where you accidentally shoot a special villager!
Just for the record: is it allowed to use both bullets in one night? Depending on how the game turns out, this can be a very crucial matter!
(Also, I think it's very telling of this game that you didn't even warn "you might shoot a regular villager", because seriously, who cares about them? :p )
Will the players know
how somebody died? For instance, the Wolves attack somebody, but that person is saved by the Angel, while in the same night the Vigilante shoots somebody. One person dies; the usual result of a night, but it makes a huge difference whether only the Wolves and the Vigilante know this, or the other players as well. For instance: the Angel will probably want to know they protected a non-Wolf, but also the other villagers can glean a ton of knowledge from this extra information.
Personally I always play with this information (it seems odd you wouldn't be able to tell whether somebody got shot or eaten), but the most important thing is to decide ahead of time how to deal with the situation if and when it occurs.
