If I join the small earth 9 coin game it costs me 5 coins and I stand to win 9 a profit of 4. The disadvantage are there are a number of players who sit and wait looking for a weaker opponent like me to snatch coins from. The alternative is to sit and wait too for a reasonable opponent, Not Great. Ok so instead I can create a coin game where my block list will stop those players who are just annoying or disrespectful etc. However that 5 coin game now costs me an extra coin so I stand to win only 3 from that type of game. Are you considering abandoning the coin charge on low value game? It seems also that the guys hell bent on winning the coin ladder bet very big, there is just a lack of available smaller coin games. I am sure there would be many more if you removed the charge , You do gain from this as the "pot" is less than the sum of the two. SO would it make more sense to drop the charge?
Just play normal 1v1s and play free coin tournaments instead. There is a lot of open games where opponents team is premade and you have to hope that your random teammate won't be bad. And that's fine, they just want to train or gain that sweet win ratio %. I suggest playing ladder, which I see you recently started. With better understanding you may have chance against better players.
When it was still possible to withdraw coins, it was (obviously) impossible to prevent better players from joining by blacklisting them. I can imagine that Fizzer changed that meanwhile?
