Within the past few days, maybe a week, I've noticed that Warlight complains that it could not display an ad. My Firefox browser has AdBlock Plus and I have told it to ignore warlight.net, yet this problem continues (the setting to ignore warlight.net has been in place for a long time, I just verified it though).

I haven't knowingly made any updates to any software on my system; it's been weeks since a Windows Update was performed.

Anyone else having similar issues? Or, anyone have a suggestion??

This issue has been reported a countless number of times. Next time, please search the forum/wiki. Also, use the help forum instead of the general forum.

Are you sure you have it on all links of Warlight.net or just the main site? I had that problem a while back, and I found this to be the reason.

The strange thing is that everything worked fine for months and months. Only lately have I had a problem....and I haven't made software changes. For that reason I posted to the forum to see if my experience was unique or not.

Anyways, I've started down the trouble shooting path. Appears to be something with my Firefox (my default browser). When I switched over to IE, it started working again (I hate IE). So I will be playing Warlight from IE as my primary platform; in the meantime I will poke around Firefox and see if I can get it to start working again.

I'm had the same thing cropping up on Chrome, I just put it down to my shitty internet connection, but I refuse to get rid of adblock completely for the half-hour or more a day I spend here.

But I think since it hasn't been counting down (which it does do if I visit a game's link directly), and I'm not currently losing points, I'm decided to not care. (please ignore the fact that I'm yelling at it to go away) Points no longer matter to me anyway, so it will stay with the current information (and since I can't trust my internet to play realtime, it will never actually affect anything)

I have the same problem with safari! I don't have add blocks but I can't play normally. That's not good becauase I lost the point of 4 ladder games win :(

try to add to exclusion in the pop-up blocker "warlight.net".

I never got my browsers to allow any ads (when playing with some alts). I tried turning everything off, adding warlight as allowed site, etc. Nothing worked. So I gave up. I don't play the alts often enough to care, but it would be nice to figure out.
